Tonight, season 2 of the out-of-nowhere phenomenon Jersey Shore premieres on MTV tonight. This show is already out of control…I guess it’s ok to keep the title “Jersey Shore” even though the episodes will be taking place in Miami for season 2. As a New Jersey resident, I think I speak for a majority of NJ when I say we don’t want to associated with these stubborn, fist pumpin juice heads, no talent clowns who can’t understand that their just prolonging their 15 minutes of fame…and trust me, it’s been a long 15 minutes.
However, we can’t overlook the fact that they have become celebrities in a way…I’m sure you reach some type of status when the President of the U.S. mentions you by name. Ok boys and girls, dreamy movie star Leonardo DiCaprio is back with what looks like another blockbuster movie, “Inception.” If anything, I would go to see Ellen Page but I might be in the minority here. Anyway, I was looking at the summary for the movie (since the trailer doesn’t help much) and this is what it says according to IMDB:

Sounds like Leo has found his nitch in the Sci-Fi/Thriller/Mystery market. (His last movie was Scorsese’s “Shutter Island.”) I decided to be a nice guy and save you the time and money and just give you the ending…the idea that Leo wants to plant is for you to buy an engagement ring from Ritani. For this week’s blog, I want to concentrate on the bridal party: the groomsmen and bridesmaids. Most of the attention is given to the bride and the groom, and we totally ignore those that make the day so special. The bridal party plays a huge role in a wedding’s success…or its failure.
Picking your bridal party is very important…and after reading this quote that I found on a brides experience with one her bridesmaids will no doubt convince you:
“I went wedding dress shopping with a couple of bridesmaids and had an 11 a.m. appointment at a bridal salon. One of my bridesmaids had been drinking at a christening before our appointment and showed up totally wasted. She was loud, slurring, and grabbing different wedding dresses off the racks. The sales people kept asking her to sit down, but she wouldn’t listen. She finally said that she could tell that she wasn’t wanted there and left. As she was driving out of the parking lot, she hit the sales person’s car and drove away. They took down her tag number and called the police, who came to the scene and interviewed me as part of their investigation. My bridesmaid then called me that afternoon and screamed at me, accusing me of calling the cops on her. She did not recall hitting a car or behaving the way she did. Needless to say, she is no longer a bridesmaid.”
Rule #1: Don’t pick a bridesmaid who gets drunk at a christening IN THE MORNING!!
Rule#2: Don’t let her drive drunk

Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to appear at her home away from home today: The Beverly Hills, CA courtroom. The reason for her court appearance? You guessed it, drug and alcohol abuse. The 24 year old actress has been caught a few times in these situations. She was caught and sentenced three years ago after she pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol as well as cocaine (not at the same time, but it wouldn’t surprise me).
After missing a hearing to promote one of her films at the Cannes Film Festival, the judge removed her probation and ordered her to wear an alcohol monitor. Of course the monitor went off at an after party she attended on the night of the MTV movie awards.
What happened to the girl in the Parent Trap or Herbie Fully Loaded? If you have kids and are trying to figure out how to approach them about the negative effects of drugs and alcohol, just show them a picture of Lindsay Lohan within the past 5 years and they’ll get the idea.
It sounds like this judge shows no favor towards celebrities, in which case buying the judge alittle something could never hurt. (Some call in bribery, I would call it jealousy). Here are Ritani, we have everything a judge could want…and then some! Sitting in a black robe all day doesn’t sound like fun…adding some jewelry could sure do alot. If Lindsay wants to stay out of the slammer, these are things she should seriously consider.
As all of you know, or should know, the fourth of July is coming up soon. Many people celebrate the fourth in different ways. Some people travel to see relatives. Some may have a barbecue while others may go to their town’s firework show…or both.
Whatever you do with friends or families, keep in mind WHY we celebrate this holiday in the first place. Next time you see a person in the armed forces, make sure you go out of your way to thank them for their service of upholding our freedom.

The world cup is living up to its name and is taking the world by storm! Everyone is talking about which country beat who (some countries I have never even heard of) and as well as predicting which two teams will end up in the finals. With soccer being a European sport, I was surprised as to how intense America took to the competition! I can’t tell you how many facebook friends I had to cut because that’s all they would post about…sacrifices had to be made for my sanity…
