Life is imitating art for Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner, who were once an onscreen couple on the popular 90s drama Melrose Place. On the show, Wagner’s character, Peter presented Locklear’s character, Amanda with a diamond engagement ring before his medical practice bought the advertising agency where she worked, he tried to drug her then ultimately tried to have her killed. Talk about a wild romance! In real life however, the couple have enjoyed a somewhat drama free romance since they began dating in 2007. The couple had been taking their romance slow out of respect for her teenage daughter and his teenage son. Wagner presented Locklear with a six carat diamond engagement ring, after he won $125,000 in a celebrity golf tournament. This is going to be Locklear’s third marriage as she has previously exchanged wedding bands with Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, with whom she has a daughter. This will be a second marriage for Wagner, as he previously exchanged wedding bands with another former co-star, Kristina Wagner, from his General Hospital days. Hopefully this real life couple can make it work better than their onscreen characters could!

Former Melrose Place star Andrew Shue and Amy Robach Weekend Today Show anchor have tied the knot this past weekend. This is their second marriage each after both getting divorces a year before getting together. Andrew has three sons and Amy has two daughters and all were in the wedding party. Making it a very close Brady Bunch type of wedding.

The happy couple exchanged wedding rings on Saturday at the Lighthouse on Chelsea Piers on the Hudson river. They wrote their own vows and have about 120 guests sharing the day with them. This was also Amy’s birthday, making it a very memorable day for Amy.
Andrew gave Amy an engagement ring back in September of 2009, after only dating a few months. Quite the whirlwind romance, but I wish them a lot of luck and happiness in their new lives with their blended family. They planned a Mexican honeymoon for this week. Did they bring the kids with them??

This one has an engagement RING to it! Andrew Shue, 42, the recently divorced former heartthrob of the hit drama Melrose Place proposed last week to the also recently divorced NBC Nightly News correspondent and former Miss Georgia Contestant, Amy Robach. Sources say the couple was spotted in Manhattan laughing and kissing and walking hand in hand along 5th Avenue back in April after having been set up on a date by friends.
The engagement comes a year after the two were separated from their respective spouses. A source close to the couple reports that “they are both very happy.” The couple`s engagement was first reported in the New York Post

Is that an Engagement Ring?
Remember that show Melrose Place? Well it seems two of the hot co-stars Jack Wagner and Heather Locklear have been working on an off-screen romance! And this is not setting up to be one of those stereotypical fairytale flings that boils hot for a second and then fizzles. NO, according to friends and insiders, this one has all the signs of a sure thing.
In fact, iVillage reports that some have even seen Heather “sportin’ some kind of sparkler on her ring finger”! Hey Hey Hey, sounds like the makings of a soon-to-be union of stars! It’s hard to say, some people have seen her wearing a diamond ring one day and not at all on other days. No one is coming right out and saying that Heather has an engagement ring or not, but one thing is for certain and that is that they (Heather and Jack) are very close and are focusing on a firm future together.
Friends of Heather and Jack say that the couple is really enjoying just being with each other; in fact they have a number of trips planned for the summer. I guess the only question is will one of those trips this summer include an altar? Well who knows..
At this point nothing is official so until signs of that designer engagement ring start showing up on the covers of glossy magazines we will just assume that they are taking it slow and working on breaking that Hollywood stereotype.
