An Angel and a Rockstar – What a Celebrity Wedding!

Country singers, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton weren’t the only celebrities to exchange wedding bands over the weekend.  Caleb Followill, who is the lead singer of the band, Kings of Leon married his Victoria’s Secret model fiancée, Lily Aldridge, last Thursday in Montecito, California.  The couple chose to exchange their vows at the San Ysidro Ranch and invited only family, which included Followill’s brothers and band mates.  Aldridge looked like a true angel in her strapless Vera Wang gown with layers of Chantilly and Followill kept it classic with a charcoal Gucci suit.  Followill presented his bride-to-be with a diamond engagement ring last Fall after the pair had been dating for four years after first meeting at the Coachella Music Festival.  This musical royal court is now complete, as the King has now found his queen.

Also tying the knot over the weekend was half of the Sister, Sister duo, actress Tamera Mowry.  The actress had been dating Adam Housley, who is a Fox News Correspondent on and off again for the past few years with Housley previously presenting Mowry with a diamond engagement ring.  The couple reunited last year and during a trip to Venice, Italy, Housley presented Mowry yet again with another engagement ring.  The pair exchanged vows and wedding bands in front of 300 guests on Saturday at an inn and vineyard in Napa, California.  The bride chose a Carolina Herrera gown to say her “I Do’s” while the groom and his groomsmen wore tuxedos with Converse sneakers.  The couple chose to honor their parents during the ceremony by presenting them with roses.  In true Hollywood fashion, the bride had two additional outfit changes, a Dolce & Gabbana two piece for the sit-down reception and then a Herve Legera dress for the dance-filled after party.  With both Tia and Tamera now married and Tia expecting, I wonder if the old saying is true – do twins really do everything together!

The Kings of Leons’ Love is on Fire!!

Finally after a long hard road of trying to make it in the American music mainstream, the Kings of Leon has had great success!  Their album released earlier this year ‘Only By the Night’ featured the hit single that has gotten them much popularity ‘Sex on Fire’.  The drummer of this seasoned band has finally gotten his love on fire by getting married this weekend!!

Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has wed his girlfriend, singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin. They tied the knot around 5 p.m. in a rustic barn at Wolf Den Farm in Brentwood, Tennessee in front of close friends and family.  Shortly after the events Nathan had tweeted a picture of his wedding band, while Jessie officially introduced herself as Mrs. Followill.

The couple first met at the music festival Bonnaroo in 2006, and hit it off immediately.  Since then they have been touring the world, and he had given her an engagement ring earlier this year.  Nathan has been boosting Jessie’s career in the process by just being associated together.
