Hopefully the plot of Bride Wars won’t be playing out between Jessica Simpson and her best friend Cacee Cobb. Jessica Simpson announced months ago that she had received an engagement ring from her boyfriend, Eric Johnson and now it’s Cacee Cobb doing the celebrating. Cobb and her Scrubs boyfriend, Donald Faison, have been dating for the past five years and met while Cobb was Jessica’s Simpson’s personal assistant. Like so many celebrities these days, Faison took to his Twitter page with a hint that he had presented Cobb with an engagement ring stating “If you like it, then you better put a ring on it.” An hour later his now fiancée took to her Twitter page announcing “If she likes it, then she better say YES!” No news as to when the couple will exchange wedding bands, but one has to wonder who will walk down the aisle first…Simpson or Cobb? This will be Faison’s second trip down the aisle, as the actor was previously married to Lisa Askey.

After finding a great deal of success with his MTV reality show with former wife, Jessica Simpson, are we really surprised that Nick Lachey is at it again – this time agreeing to televise the exchanging of wedding bands with fiancée, Vanessa Minillo?! TLC has signed up to air the show, aptly titled Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding, which will air a few weeks after the event. The show will provide viewers with indepth access to the couple’s life leading up to the wedding, including planning for the big day, her bridal shower and both their bachelor and bachelorette parties. The culmination of the show will be the actual wedding ceremony, whose actual date is being kept a secret to allow for the couple and their families to enjoy their day in peace – minus the television cameras following everyone around.
The couple had been dating for five years before Lachey presented his bride-to-be with a diamond engagement ring last November. Ironically enough, Lachey’s ex Jessica Simpson became engaged shortly after and is planning her own “I Dos” to fiancé Eric Johnson. Will Simpson and Johnson follow in her exes footsteps and exchange wedding bands and vows on TV as well?

Another famous bachelor is off the market. Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo said “I Do” on Saturday when he presented a wedding band to his girlfriend, Candice Crawford in front of 600 close friends and family. The couple began dating in the summer of 2099 and Romo popped the question with a diamond engagement ring in December of 2010.
The bride and groom exchanged vows that they had both written for each other, which had Crawford crying for most of the ceremony. During dinner, a video of Romo presenting Crawford with her engagement ring played for all to see. They then treated guests to a dancing filled reception with music from Beyoncé and the Black Eyed Peas getting many of Romo’s teammates on the floor.
