Jake Pavelka of “The Bachelor” may have picked a winner for himself on his show, but couldn’t find favor in the eyes of the “Dancing With the Stars” judges the other night, as he and his professional dance partner Chelsea Hightower were voted off t
he show as the fifth elimination. It was an emotional experience for Jake when he found out, and even let some tears fly. In a Good Morning America interview, Jake had this to say about his experience on the show: “It really meant something to me. I’m so grateful to have been able to dance with Chelsie for six episodes. … I still am really sad to say goodbye to the ‘Dancing With the Stars‘ family.”

The Bachelor Purchases Rings; Indicates Winner
As the season finale of The Bachelor approaches on Monday March 1st, it seems that viewers are getting a good idea of who Jake Pavelka is going to choose. Pavelka happened to run into Neil Lane, the famous ring designer. Of the two rings that were made, one of them just happens to be a diamond princess cut, coincidentally Vienna Girardi’s favorite kind because she’s “daddy’s little girl.” Girardi, an ex-hooter girl and one of the two finalists, is rumored to be the favorite to steal Pavelka’s heart on Monday night’s season finale. Earlier in the season, Girardi admitted that if she were to get engaged, a diamond princess cut is the one she would choose…and now it seems to be in her grasp. Tune in to see the “surprise” ending.

New ‘Bachelor’ is a Familiar Face!
As seen so many times in the reality world we have a contestant from one show getting their own reality series. This time its a reject from the Bachelorette. It seems Jake Pavelka made an impression with the viewers when he wasn’t chosen by Jillian Harris because he was “too nice”. Well even though reality thrives on drama people also want to see a good guy win. So there is your premise for the new season of “The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love”, season 14 premieres in January 2010.
Jake is a pilot from Dallas, TX, hence the subtitle of the show, and getting a chance to find love on his own terms. He says that he’s looking for a girl that is more than just a beauty. He wants to find someone that is so perfect that he will think she is beautiful regardless of what others may say. This sounds very nice and sincere, so I hope he gets to choose from some quality girls who have more substance to them aside from looks.
I find it interesting that women still find the bad boys so desirable when they give them more grief than happiness. Jillian didn’t choose Jake as he was “too nice” and ended up choosing a guy who has been rumored to be in a relationship with someone else. Jake has set his standards for this next lady to be “compassionate, passionate, romantic, and protective”. It sounds like he is looking for more than a contestant but a wife.
Good luck Jake in your pursuit of the ‘perfect’ woman. So as you hand out those roses, I hope you have success and happiness throughout the dramatic reality world. Maybe this will be his chance to give some lucky lady a RITANI engagement ring!
