The American Beauty actress was given an 8 carat diamond engagement ring by concert promoter Simone Sestito last year on a trip they took to Jamaica.

She is really thrilled, and has been planning their June 26, 2010 nuptials in Italy . They have much in common and want to have a big, traditional wedding with all of their family in attendance. She has been working on the look of her wedding gown with a designer friend. This is a big difference from her first attempt at marriage, as she had eloped with her ex-husband of five years. She seems to be a lot more mature and ready to be married and is already thinking about starting a family. Mena and her Simone look really great together and I hope this is a successful union. Hollywood is known for ruining relationships so I hope they try to keep their life private. Though, by the looks of the engagement ring I think they will be proclaiming their love from the rooftops! If the engagement ring is any indication of what is to come I can’t wait to see the wedding bands they exchange next summer!
