Emmy nominated actress Christina Applegate is confirmed to be engaged to the bassist and founding member Martyn Lenoble
of the L.A. based rock band Porno for Pyros. This is the second marriage for both Applegate, 38, and Lenoble, 41. Martyn and Christina are said to have been friends for many years, but the relationship turned intimate after Applegate’s divorce from actor Johnathon Schaech in 2007. We have yet to get a glimpse of yet another infamous celebrity engagement ring, but I’m sure it won’t disappoint. Jake Pavelka of “The Bachelor” may have picked a winner for himself on his show, but couldn’t find favor in the eyes of the “Dancing With the Stars” judges the other night, as he and his professional dance partner Chelsea Hightower were voted off t
he show as the fifth elimination. It was an emotional experience for Jake when he found out, and even let some tears fly. In a Good Morning America interview, Jake had this to say about his experience on the show: “It really meant something to me. I’m so grateful to have been able to dance with Chelsie for six episodes. … I still am really sad to say goodbye to the ‘Dancing With the Stars‘ family.”

Rena, 41, is being sued by her ex-fiance Roger Adler, 42, for scamming him into an engagement ring which she pawned for nearly $70k. The couple had been dating for six weeks before Rena started pushing Roger into marriage. Rena has been engaged in the past, which Roger suspects was only for the ring. Some states have different laws as to who the ring belongs to if an engagement is broken off. Rena is being sued under NY State law, which says that the ring is legally still Roger’s, therefore the court is ruling in his favor. So ladies, if you’re thinking about hauking your engagement ring, make sure it’s in a state that allows you to.
